Applying for research grants

The foundation aims to promote scientific research and prioritizes forest research with a biological and ecological focus. The foundation can also support humanistic research projects in areas such as art and culture. Grants are awarded annually, normally to two to four projects.

Priority will be given to research projects on the management of deciduous and mixed forests with management methods other than clear-cutting. The foundation thereby wants to work towards a more varied forestry that comprehensively benefits forest values ​​such as a varied wood assortment, biodiversity, social and cultural-historical values.

For year 2026 the available amount is 220 000 SEK, to be granted to 2-4 projects.
